FILMED FROM THE AIR
KAPIfiR-GISBOBNE ROUTE Passengers by one of Union, Airways' planes from Napier to Gisborne yesterday were interested in the activity of a eimematographer, Mr. Lee Hill, who -secured ''.Shots'' of the loading of the plane at the Beacons aerodrome, Napier, and travelled with, the plane to Gisborne, making frequent exposures of film at the more interesting points along 'the journey. To enable ithe photographer to secure "shots" >of the railway route, the plane made a slight deviation from the regular direct line between Napier and Gisborne, and Mr. Hill's fellow passengers -shared 1 with him an opportunity not usually accorded 16 air travellers on this service. ft lis understood that this film, and also others to be made on the Gis-bor.ne-Auckkmd -mute, will be incorporated in a New Zealand publicity display.
