PRICES HOLD FIRM GREASY MERINO 24:]D (Reed. March 21, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 21. At the Sydney wool sales yesterday prices were fully firm on the closing rates of the previous Sydney series. Competition was strong from the Continent and Yorkshire, with a fair demand from Jopan. •Greasy Merino fleece sold to 24-Jd. The offering consisted of 10,975 bales, of which 9770 were sold at auction. In addition ICG9 bales were sold privately.
