KAIAPOI WORKERS RESUMPTION TO-DAY (Pet Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. After a hold-up, for three days killing at the Kaiapoi works of the North Canterbury Sheepf armors' Co-opera-tive Freezing Company was resumed this morning. Further discussions on the working of the "chain" took place yesterday between officials of the Labour Department, the company and the employees and an agreement was reached. So that a settlement could be reached the company gave woy en a point connected with the lay-out of the chain. The agreement reached involved the adjustment of the chain. This was carried out, the work being delayed until to-day. Other departments at the Kaiapoi works were normal yesterday. A report that a Government representative was to settle the dispute was denied
