PIGEON FLYING

MAKARAKA CLUB RACE (Herald Correspondent.) The Makaraka Racing Pigeon Club held its weekly race on Saturday from Napier, a« airline distance of 85 miles. There was a good entry of birds, and although there was a heavy side wind good times were registered. The first to clock in was an entry from D. McLean's loft, which look 2hr. 35min.
