NO CAUSE FOR PANIC
CANBERRA ASSURANCE TALK WITH CONDON (Reed. March. 20, 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 20. The Australian Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, who ispoke on the radio telephone to the British Prime Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, said that there was no cause for panic in the developments in Europe. The Federal Cabinet probably will meet in Melbourne on Tuesday to discuss the international situation. The German occupation of Czechoslovakia was condemned by Mr, W. M. Hugfhes in a broadcast address. He said that the policy of it'he democratic nafions moist be: "Tims far and no further." There would be neither peace nor security until the aggressor nations- had been halted in their career if conquest.
