The Battle of New Zealand has received the following cable message from London as at the close of business last week.—"Wethers.—The market is weaker for heavyweights; lightweights remain steady. Ewes.—There is little business doing. Lambs. — The market is well supplied and there is a fair demand. Quotations:—Wethers, light 3id to 'lid, heavy 3d to .‘ltd; ewes, 2d to 3d; lambs, twos 7d to 7Jd, eights GJjd to 7d. fours GJd to GJd, seconds, GJd to G&d.”
