REPRESENTATIVE GAMES --- ARRANGEMENTS IN HAND G.H.5.0.8. V. THE REST ■> Arrangements for representative fixtures to be decided before the close Of the season were discussed yesterday afternoon at the meeting of the Management committee of tne Poverty Bay Cricket Association. The Senior B representative team to visit Wairoa during tne coming week-end was approved as follows: —W. J. Wilkie, captain and manager, £. Gardner, W. Toroa, H. Lee, M. McMahon, J. Barbour, N. Balfour, S. Scott, R. Torrie, T. Donovan, and C. Sebire. The selector advised that G. A. Revell, V. S. Caulton, and R. CalCott were not available for the match. In view of the representative match for the Kirk Cup to be played on March 25 and 26, it was decided to conduct a representative trial game next wek-end between G.H.5.0.8.. the winners of the senior competition, and a team selected from the remainder of the teams in the series. The following teams have been announced, those up-ible tike thenplace in The Rest to communicate immediately with the selector, Mr. P. H. Dow: — The Rest—P. H. Dow, G. H. Stewart, J. K. Somervell, T. M. Sharp, E. F. James, M. A. O’Brien, W. Purcell, F. Newton, I. Niven, A. Fisher, and A. McLean. G.H.5.0.8. —D. A. Wells. G. E. Slade, S. E. Wilson, D. Cederwall, R. Thomson, T. White, J. Barbour, R. Carroll, R. Sim, A. McLeod, and G. Harris. Championship Points The final points for the championships in the senior A and the senior B second divisions are as follows: Senior A Grade.—G.H.S.O.B., 66 pts; City, 60pts; Marist. 52pts; Old Boys, nil. Senior B, Second Division.—G.H.S. 0.8., Whites, 79pts; City, 73pts; High School B, 62pts; United B, 28pts. The points in the first division of the senior B grade will n'ot be available until next Saturday’s games are complete. It was decided to continue with oneday matches until April L the annual dinner and presentation of trophies being set down for that evening. A sub-committee consisting of Messrs. W. Stewart, A. Bignell, J. CrawfordSmith, W. J. Wilkie, and D. A. Wells was appointed to make the necessary arrangements for the dinner. A request was made for team captains to forward their teams’ averages to the association secretary as soon ds possible. Draw for Saturday The draw for Saturday Is as follows: — Senior A Grade. — G.n.5.0.8. v. 6ity, on Oval No. 3: Old Boys v. Marist, on Oval No. 2. Senior B Grade.—Gisborne Club v. High School A, on High School Rectory wicket, finish of Competition match; G.H.5.0.8. Blues v. G.H.S.O. B„ Whites, on High School bath 4-icket; United A. v. United B, on 6val No. 1 High School B. v. Civil Service, on High School concrete wicket: Marist v. City, on Oval No. 4
Junior Grade.—High School A v High School B on High School third bath wicket, competition match postponed from, last week; Marist v. Primary Sfchools, on Oval representative wicket.
