Over New Zealand and south-eastern Australia, however, pressure is high. Forecast: Winds light to fresh northeast to north-west at first over most of the country, but southerlies in the far south and gradually extending I northward over most of the country. Seas: In New Zealand waters, slight to moderate generally but rather rough at times in Cook Strait and on the east coast of North Auckland.
