Len Harvey, the British heavyweight champion boxer, has accepted the offer of a new London promotion syndicate to fight ithrec leading heavyweights, including Tommy Farr, at Earl’s Count Exhibition building. It has been stated that the sum guaranteed ‘the British heavyweight is £IO,OOO. If Harvey is successful it is hoped to match him for the world title with Joe Louis in the United States or London about August or September.
