COASTAL TRADE The Awahou lefl Gisborne last evening lor Napier (o complete discharging cement from Portland. The Pakura arrived at Gisborne about noon to-day from Tauranga and after loading sheep sailed for Tolaga Bay to complete for Tauranga. The ship discharges her shipment at Tauranga to-morrow and proceeds to Tokomaru Bay for a load of sheep. The auxiliary scow Seagull is discharging her cargo of logs from Hicks Bay at No. 2 wharf and sails to-mor-row for Hicks Bay for a further load of logs. The Pukeko is due at Napier at 3 p.m. to-day from Lyttelton and Wellington. She works Waikokopu tomorrow night -ind arrives here on Thursday morning. The Kopara leaves Auckland tonight for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier, arriving here on Thursday. The Margaret W. finished her Auckland loading this evening and departs for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. arriving here on Thursday.
The Wainui leaves Dunedin to-day, works Oamaru and Timaru to-morrow, Lyttelton on Thursday, and Wellington on Friday and Saturday. The vessel is due at Gisborne. via Napier. about Monday next.
The Totara is expected to load .'l5O tons of State coal lit Greymouth about February 13 for Gisborne.
HOMEWARD LOADING Gisborne Roadstead
Port Hunter (Port Line; agents, Gisborne Sheepfarmers'), loads meal, butter and general cargo at Gisborne February 20-22. Sails finally from Napier on March 13 for London, via Panama, and arrives Home about April 19. Tolaga Bay Roadstead Benledi (G. H. Scales' chartered steamer: agent, Mr. C. 11. Cato). is due at Napier to-morrow from Wellington and at Tolaga Bay on Thursday to load wool for Dunkirk. London and Antwerp. She clears Dunedin finally m February 24. Tokomaru Bay Roadstead
Tonganru (New Zealand Shipping Company; Captain P. B. Clarke), with an improvement in the weather anchored in the Tokomaru Bay roadstead at 11.30 a.m. yesterday but loading ashore was not commenced until 3 p.m. and at the ship at U p.m. Loading operations are being continued to-day and are expected to finish to-morrow, when the vessel will sail for Auckland. RANGITIKI FROM LONDON The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rangitiki has radioed that she expects to arrive at Auckland at (i a.m. on Sunday from London, via Panama. CARGO FROM. AUSTRALIA Karepo left Sydney last evening for Napier. The steamer has Newcastle coal and general cargo from Sydney and Newcastle, and after working Napier she discharges at Gisborne about February 16.
