INCREASE EXPECTED

UNION MEMBERSHIP DOMINION FIGURES (Pur Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Although the membership of unions in the Dominion reached a record total last year, it is anticipated that the returns for the year ending to-morrow will reveal a further substantial increase. In an interview to-day, Mr. H. Campbell, secretary of the Auckland Trades' Council of the Federation of Labour, said the work of union offices had been increased over 50 per cent and ,the personnel of the office staffs proportionately. One union had an inside staff of A 0 and, in addition,,there were organisers on the road.
