STAMPS SOLD FOR £I4OO

LONDON, Nov. 2. Stamps belonging to Sir Capel Fitzgerald, who died 21 years ago, were discovered recently when the estate of Lady Fitzgerald, his mother, was being administered by the trustee department of Westminster Bank, and at Harmer’s they were sold for £I4OO. Sir Capel’s mother was executrix of his estate, but because of her delay in dealing with his property the stomps had lain at the bank until a few weeks ago.
