IMPROVED RESULTS
HEALTH STAMP SALES THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT With the coming of -Christmas the health stamp appeal on behalf of the children’s health camps has met with increasingly generous support. During the first week of December an additional £SOO was obtained for the various health camp organisations as the result of the sale of 102,546 health stamps, and the receipts for nine weeks since the opening of the appeal have reached almost £SOOO. Organised effort in many centres has greatly improved the results by bringing the health stamp with its “Id for postage and Id for health” more directly under the notice of post office customers. The results in the various postal districts for nine weeks ended December 7 are as follows: —
992,902 4,137 1 10 In addition to receipts from stamp sales, there have been donations totalling over £BOO, thus bringing the amount to the credit of health camps up to £4944 18s Bd.
