OFFENSIVE BY REBELS
FRONT OF 70 MILES SIX ARMY CORPS (Reed. Dec. 29, noon.) LONDON, Dec. 28. A message from Saragossa states that General Franco’s most ambitious offensive is 'being continued determinedly along a 70-mile front between Tremp and tne confluence of the Segre and Ebro Rivers. The operating force consists of six army corps commanded by Spanish generals. The prisoners taken in the first three days number 7000. The Republicans claim they are holding the centre sector.
