Notices were issued to-day by the Auckland Education Board to.approximately 170 students in. the Auckland district announcing' the selections for entrance to the Teachers Training College in the New Year. The boards quota for 1939 is 228 and 58 students for admission have yet to be chosen from the balance of the 350 applicants. For the first time on record, the male applicants outnumber the females.
