CHIUKIANG DELTA BLOW TO CHI A NO’S FORCES (Reed. Dec. 5, 10 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 4. Reports from Tokio state that the Japanese claim to have completely occupied the Chiukiang delta and to have captured a position eight miles south of Fatshan. The communique claims that this means the cutting off of the munition supplies to the Chinese forces and the elimination of the Chinese attempt to counter attack Canton. A message from Chungking says that Japanese planes yesterday made two bombing raids on Kweilin, killing many people. •
