DEATH OF FRED BARNES

The death of the former musical hall actor, Fred Barnes, at the age of 53, in a tiny room at Southend, recalls the unfounded rumour of his marriage in 1927 to the Australian actress, Rose Tyson. The body was found dressed in an immaculate blue suit, an overcoat, patent leather shoes, and a muffler, find was surrounded by photographs of bygone stars. Suicide is not suspected.
