Messages from Vienna stale that as a sequel to the attack made during the week-end on the palace of Cardinal Innitzer, the Cathedral of St. Stephen remains closed and is heavily guarded. Cardinal Innitzer lias not left the palace all day, but a leaflet signed by him was distributed surreptitiously urging parents to send their children to religious schools, which is not forbidden, though a new Law has abolished compulsory religious education. The Vienna police have announced the arrest of several of the alleged ring leaders of the rioting which occurred during the week-end. The Vienna correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says there is now an undisguised conflict between the Nazi Party and the Roman Catholic Church.
