LOAN FOR ROADING
■»■ vViIROA COUNTY SCHEME (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. Advice was received from the State Advances Corporation at yesterday's monthly meeting of the Wairoa County Council agreeing to lend £IO,OOO, part of the road metalling and main highways loan of £40,000, at 3J per cent for a term of 10 years, repayable on the basis of a 15-year table, interest to commence from November 1, 1938.
