DRAMA FESTIVAL ENDS

NORTH ISLAND FINAL KNOX PLAYERS' SUCCESS (Per Press Association.) MASTERTON, this day. The North Island elimination drama festival held by the British Drama League was concluded last night. The play selected to compete in the final al Hastings on October 20 was "The Hikers," presented by Knox Players, Dannevirke, the winners in the southern Hawke's Bay area. LevJn Playreaders were second and Napier Repertory Players third. Two marks separated the first three teams.
