MAJOR SHOT DEAD SENTRY'S TRAGIC KRROR (Reed. Oct. 12, 9 a.m.) JERUSALEM, Oct. 11. Mistaking him for a prowler, a sentry shot dead Major E. Wray, the newly-appointed chief military prosecutor in Jerusalem, while visiting military posts at night time near the Gaza station.

It is understood that provisional arrangements have been made for the High Commissioner in Palestine, Sir Harold Macmichael, to leave on the return journey to Palestine on Thursday. His conversations with the Colonial Secretary, Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, were continued to-day.
