EARLY DECISIVE RESULT COMMENT ON ULTIMATUM PAIR WARNING TO JEWS "A VITAL MISJUDGMENT" (Elec. Tel. Copyright United Press Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 12, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 11. The .Jerusalem correspondent of the British United Press says that the Arabs apparently are intensifying the activities in order to force a decisive result in a few weeks. An Arab spokesman to-day commented on the ultimatum which, it was reported yesterday, had been sent by Nabih Elzame, the president of the Palestine Defence Committee, to Dr. Chain ' Weizmann, president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, stating: "Even if you have to be entirely annihilated the Arabs will not let you install yourselves in Arab Palestine. If Britain resorts to war on your behalf she cannot defend you from the Arab countries of the world."
The spokesman said that the Arabs thought it fair to warn Dr. Weizmann that he was arousing anti-Jewish feeling where British bayonets would not protect the Jews. He added that the suspension of the talks between Dr. Weizmann and the Iraq Foreign Minister, Tewiik Suwaidi, was due to the refusal of the former to agree to stop Jewish migration to Palestine and to permanence of the minority status.
The General Council of Jews has sent a telegram to Dr. Weizmann saying: "It is a vital misjudgment of the situation to imagine that to deprive Jewry Of the right to return to its ancient home will bring peace in Palestine."
