VICTIMS OF ASSASSIN
GENERAL AND MAJOR ATTACK IN SOFIA STREET SUICIDE BY SLAYER (Elec. Tol. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 11, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 10. The correspondent of the British United Press says that Major General Pecf, the Chief of Staff of the Bulgarian Army, was assassinated in the street outside the Ministry of Justice in the middle of the afternoon. Major StoyanofT, an aide-de-camp, was also killed. The assailant followed them for some time. He emptied a revolver into them. He then produced a second revolver and committed suicide.
lie recently was released aftei serving a murder sentence. He was named Vlasseff and was a native ci Stanimaka, the birthplace of General Peel'.
