NATIONAL DANCING

MEETING OF EXECUTIVE APPRECIATION OF WORK A meeting of the Poverty Bay branch of the Piping and Dancing Association was held in Le Grand Cafe on Wednesday, when there was a good attendance of members. Mr. P. Sim was elected chairman for the ensuing year. A hearty vote of thanks and appreciation was passed to Messrs. W. Jonasen and Livingstone for their past services as hon. secretary and treasurer respectively. It was decided to ask intending competitors to forward their registration fees as soon as possible. Mr. A. Stoneham's offer of a cup for future competition was much appreciated, and the trophy will be allotted at a future date.
