Wainui, southern pons, August 10. Zealandic, Wellington, August 15. COASTAL TRADE The Pukeko commenced the discharge of her Auckland cargo at Gisborne this morning. From here she proceeds to Waikokopu. but the time of her departure is indefinite owing to the congestion of shipping at Napier. The Margaret W. which reached Gisborne at 4.10 p.m. yesterday from Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay, is expected to sail to-morrow evening for Auckland. The Pakura berthed at the breakwater at Napier to-day and it was hoped to dispatch her to-night for Gisborne. She is due here tomorrow and after discharging general cargo from Lyttelton will load for Wellington. The Awahou is expected to discharge Wellington cargo at Gisborne on Monday. Owing to the large number of ships at Napier the usual procedure of lightering the Awahou in the roadstead is being taken to expedite her dispatch. She will come to Gisborne during the week-end. The Wainui, from Dunedin. Oamaru and Timaru, left Lyttelton yesterday and is expected to clear Wellington tomorrow for Napier and Gisborne. She is due here on Wednesday. HOMEWARD LOADINGS Gisborne Roadstead Poll [lardy (Porl Line; agents, Gisborne Sheepfarmers') put to sea at 7.45 p.m. yesterday from the Gisborne roadstead on account of the southerly gale. She remained at sea to-day aiid it is hoped to recommence loading operations in the bay tomorrow. Circumstances permitting, the vessel will sail for Wellington tomorrow night. Zealandic (Shaw, Savill; agents, Common. Shelton and Company), loads meat and genral cargo at Gisborne on August 15 for London, and leaves the same day for Home, via Cape Horn and Las Palm as. Ruahine (New Zealand Shipping Company; agents, Union Company) loads meat and general cargo at Gisborne September Hi for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. Sails finally Wellington September 28. TAINUI FURTHER DELAYED A further postponement is announced in connection with the sailing time of the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui from Wellington for Southampton and London. The ship is now expected to clear Wellington at 5 p.m. on Thursday. August; 18. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA Kalingo, is now discharging general cargo from Australian ports at Gisborne. She is expected to complete on Tuesday, when she will depart for Greymouth and Sydney. Kairanga, from Newcastle and Port Kembla, leaves Sydney August 6 for Auckland. Karepo. from Edithburg.
