STRUCK BY TRAIN
A well-known resident of Huntly, Mr. William Ingram, aged .37, a miner, had his right leg amputated below the knee in the Waikato Hospital as the result of being run over by a railway engine at Huntly on Saturday evening. Mr. Ingram was crossing the railway line just south of the Huntly station, when it is believed he slipped. An engine which was proceeding from the station to connect with the Pukemiro coal train ran over his right leg.
