MAORI RUGBY FAMILY
With the inclusion of S. Jackson in the New Zealand Maori Rugby team which is to tour Fiji, Hawke's Bay will have three representatives in the side, P. Smith, J. Murray and S. Jackson. The invitation to Jackson to join the learn follows the incapacitation by sickness of W. Broughton, the selected full-back. Jackson, who will leave today to join the team, will create something of a record in Rugby circles, as he and two brothers will all be on tour at the same time representing the Dominion at ißugby. An elder brother, Everard, is at present in Australia with the All Blacks, and a younger brother, adopted by the Wi Repa family on the Coast, is also in the Maori team to tour the islands.
