BASKETBALL DRAW
SATURDAY'S MATCHES .SCHOOL TEAMS’ . TRIP An annual visit is to be paid to Te Karaka on Saturday by the High School B and C grade teams to meet representatives of the Te Karaka District High School. In the programme of matches for Saturday afternoon the High School B and C teams were to have met St. Mary’s B 1 and 11.5.0. G. C respectively, and these contests will take place at a later date. The draw for the rest of the games is as follows: A Grade.T-High School v. St. Mary’s Al. on No. 1 court, at 2.45 p.m., referee, Miss Somervell; Tuis v. Iluia, on No. 1 court, at 2 p.m., referee, Miss Somervell; 11.5.0. G. A v. Woolworths, on No. 1 court, at 3.30 p.m., referee, Miss Somervell; Cash Stores v. St. Mary’s A2, on No. 2 court, al 2 p.m., referee. Mr. Anderson; Marathon, a bve. B Grade.—ll.S.O.G. B v. SI. Mary’s 82, on No. 2 court, at 3.30 p.m., referee, Mr. Anderson; Harriers v. Gamages, on No. 3 court, at 2 p.m., referee. Miss Miller; Mangapapa v. Kaiti, on No. 3 court, at 3.30 panreferee, Mr. Ansell. C Grade. —St. Mary’s Cl v. Wesley on No. 3 court, at 2.45 pan., referee. Miss G. Henderson; St. Mary's C2 v. Caledonians, on Convent court, at 2.45 p.m., referee, Miss N. Henderson; St. Mary's C. 3v. Kia Toa, on Convent court, at 2 p.m., referee, Mr. Ansell. Li nesmen.—Ma ngapapa. . A full muster of B grade representatives will be required to practice on Monday and Tuesday of next week. The practices will start at 0.15 a.m. at the. courts and if the weather is wet the players - are to assemble at the Y.M.C.A. building.
