PALMERSTON N., this day. Surprise was expressed at the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce meeting when a member said the Court of Review had reduced the debt of nearly £4O owing to his firm to £lO, the amount to be paid in four instalments.
It was stated by another member that farmers went to the Court of Review in "big flash cars," to have their liabilities reduced, while a third speaker remarked that his firm had been compelled to accept payment of 3s in the £ spread over six years.
