The scores of Longrigg. 187 not out. playkig for Somerset against Gloucester, and Harris, who made 179 for Notts against. Surrey, were the leading individual tallies in the series of county cricket games which concluded to-day. The test captain, W. R. Hammond, made 101 not out in Gloucester's second innings against Somerset. Verity headed the bowlers with live wickets for 21 runs, playing for Yorkshire against Lancashire, and another excelent average was shown by Fames who, bowling lor Essex, took six Worcester wickets for 43 runs.

Details of the games are as follow: Surrey in the first innings made 447 runs (Squires 30, Garland Wells 94). and in the second declared with five wickets down for 171 runs (Gunn four for 33). Notts in the first innings made 443 runs (Harris 179 and Heane 31), and in the second scored 45 runs at a cost of one wicket. Surrey wc.i on the first innings.

Somerset in the first strike declared with 501 runs for seven wickets (Longrigg 187 not out). Gloucester in the first made 233 (Hammond 3G: Wellarrl seven 'for 80), and followed on, losing four wickets for 250 (Hammond 101 not out). Somerset won on the first innings.

Kent in the first innings made 407 (Knott 112). Hampshire in the first made 102' (Wright four for 40), and followed on to score 197. Kent won by an innings and 108 runs.

Northants in the first innings made 351 (Nelson 80, Timms 121), and in the second lost one wicket for 59. . Leicester won on the first innings. Sussex in the first innings made <29b (Allen five for 68), and in the second 181 (Gray five for 22). Middlesex in the first innings made 178 (Nye five for 55), and in the second scored 301 runs for seven wickets (Ednch 95). Middlesex won by three wickets. Warwick in the first innings made 187 (Doilery 113), and in the second 102 (Copson six for 30). Derby m the first innings made 377 (Smith 97, A. Pope 103). Derby won by an innings and 28 runs. , Worcester in the first innings made 151 (Fames six for 43). and in the second 248 (Human 81; Fames eight f or 76) Essex in the first innings made 200 (Eastman 90), and in . the second scored 200 runs for six wickets. Essex won by four wickets.
