COASTAL TRADE The Margaret W. sailed from Auckland at 9 p.m. yesterday for Tokomaru i Bay, Tologa Bay and Gisbome. She arrives here to-morrow and departs on Friday for 'Auckland. The Pukeko cleared Auckland at 6.45 p m yesterday lor Coast bays, Gisbome and Napier. She is expected her to-morrow morning and should sail the same day for Napier. The Pakura reached Waikokopu tins morning from Lyttelton. A change has been made in her schedule and from Waikokopu she proceeds to Napier, thence Gisborne. She should arrive here on Friday. The Awahou has been delayed by rain at Wellington and is now expected to arrive at Gisborne. via Napier on Saturday. The Waftvui works Oamaru and Timaru to-day, LytteLton, to-morrow, thence Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, arriving here about Wednesday of next week. HOMEWARD LOADINGS Gisborne Roadstead Port Hardy (Port Line; agents, Gisborne Sheepfarmers') continued her Homeward loading in the Gisborne roadstead to-day and is expected to be dispatched to-morrow for Wellington, whence she sails on August 9 for London, via Panama. Zealandic (Shaw, Savill: agents, Common Shelton and Company), loads meat and genral cargo at Gisborne on August 15 for London, and leaves the same day Cor Home, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. Ruahinc (New Zealand Shipping Company: agents, Union Company) , loads meat and general cargo at Gis--borne September Hi for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. Sails finally Wellington .September 28. I STEAMER ABANDONED The British steamer Harinanleli. which went aground in the Straits of Magellan in Mav when on a voyage ; from Santos, Brazil, to the Pacilic j Coast, is now regarded as uninsurable. The ship, which visited Auckland last December, suffered serious damage I during a gale when ashore and the I salvors definitely abandoned operaj tions. /NEW DREDGE FOR WELLINGTON The new dredge for the Wellington Harbour Hoard, the Keremoana. is still on her leisurely way to Wellington, but just where she is at the moment is known only to those on board, unless she is in port somewhere on the Australian coast. A few weeks or so ago a report quite unofficial, was received in Wellington that the dredge had called at and sailed from Townsville, Queensland, quite a time ago, but a later report, again unofficial, was that the Keremoana was. on July 5, at Thurs. day Island, in Torres Strait, awaiting bunker supplies from Townsville. If this report is correct the dredge should arrive at about the end of the month,
