ABOUT £69,000 INVOLVED

Cecil Roberts Trotman Foote, aged 37. a clerk who was charged on June 28 with having stolen funds of the National Bank of Australasia, was to-day committed for trial on six charges of theft from the bank. Foote pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence.
It was stated that the amount involved was approximately £69,000.
