U.S. DOUBLES CHAMPIONS

The tennis champions, .T. D. Budge and Gene Mako, on arrival, indignantly denied that they had split up their doubles partnership. They said they expected to play together in the Davis Cup and other tournaments this season.
Budge, referring to a report that he is turning professional, declared:— "That is entirely out of the question."
