HUGHES' WORLD FLIGHT
COST OF. ONLY £1250 NEW YORK, July 25. "The trip cost only £1250," said Mr. Howard Hughes, the millionaire aviator, referring to his v/orld flight. "The aeroplane," he added, "cost £15,000, but the motors and petrol were furnished free" Mr. Hughes and his crew of four flew 14,685 miles in 3 days 19 hours 14 minutes. Mr. Hughes is making plans for a flight around South America, including a non-stop flight of 4820 miles from New York to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
