SUSPICIOUS OF JUNKS
DESTROYER TO THE RESCUE
AID NUT REQUIRED
(Reed. July 2, 9 a.m.) HONGKONG, July 1
The British destroyer, H.M.S. Delight proceeded from Tsingtao to-day to give assistance if needed, to the British steamer, Saint Vincent de Paul, which was reported to have been attacked by pirates 100 miles northward.
It transpired, however, that the Saint Vincent de Paul had not been molested. The scare arose however owing to the present of a number of suspicious junks.
