The casual manner of some motorist:: towards the efforts of the Waikunao i J ark Development Committee has been noticed lately by the trucks of their cars on some of the newlylevelled and sown ground at the beach. However, during the week-end one motorist drove his car on to the concrete promenade and weaved his way in and out of the buildings belonging to the Waikanae Beach Improvement Society, doing considerable damage to the ne\\'!y-so\vn lawns. The attention of the public was drawn to such an inconsiderate motorist and officials of the committee desired that in future the public should assist, it in an attempt to stamp out any further occurrences of this nature.
