' Major-General J. H. r MarshallCornwall who since 1937 has been chief of the British military mission to the Egyptian Army, has been appointed as deputy chief of the Imperial General Staff anti-aircraft defences, as part of the creation of a higher command for air raid defences. The appointment coincides with the creation of an air defence board by France. ..-.-■■
