The Australian Marshall won the Empire amateur billiards championship for the second time. The final concluded on Saturday, Marshall’s score being GG39 against 4705 scored by Kcnncrley (England). Throughout the championship, Marshall averaged 49 for each table visit, a world amateur record. Marshall’s form failed somewhat on Saturday, Kcnncrley scoring 1000 points more, but insufficient to make up the leeway.
