NITHAKA BEAT PIRATES (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. Waikaremoana’s withdrawal from the senior Rugby competitfon in Wairoa leaves only three teams, and as Old Boys had a bye on Saturday there was no senior game in Wairoa, 'the other match toeing played in Nuhaka.
In the juniors Druids nine defeated Old Boys six in a hard fought game. Rauna kicked two penalty goals for Druids and Alexander crossed the line.
Old Boys got their points in the final 10 minutes, B. Smith succeeding with a penalty kick and Peebles falling on the ball after he had received it out of a scrum practically on the line. Waikaremoana three drew with Pirates three; Nuhaka 25 defeated Korokoro nine
In the senior game played in Nuhaka, Nuhaxa 14 defeated Pirates
