GREEN ORCHID; RED IRIS

LONDON, June 9

Highlights of the Royal Horticultural Society’s show were a green orchid and a red iris. These were described as new and fashionable colours. Sir Jeremiah Colman obtained the award of merit for a remarkable orchid, the flower ol which was green except for a white fringe lo the lip.
