LABOUR PARTY FEARS
LACK OF AIR DEFENCES CONCERN IX BRITAIN (Heed. May 4, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 3. A statement issued by Labour members of Parliament expresses concern at the alleged inefficiency and delay on the part of the Government in carrying out the air defence scheme, in consequence of which, it is explained, Labour members appointed their own committee, which lias collected information of a "disturbing character.''
The leader of the party, Major C. R. Attlee, intends drawing attention to the matter in the House of Commons as early as possible.
