There was an increase of 40 per cent in the butter entries and a decrease of 22 per cent in the cheese entries at the Auckland winter show, compared with last year. Cheese New Zealand championship, case of Cheddar for export.—Dalefield Company, Carterton, 1; Maharahara Company, Dannevirke, 2; Pahiatua Company, Mangamutu, 3; Stratford Company, 4. Points prize.---Daleiield 374.3, 1; Pahiatua, 374.1, 2; Stratford Dairy, 373, 3. Scott and Woods Memorial Shield for most points for cheese for novice managers.—Maharahara 559 points.
