MOTORIST ON TRIAL
ALLEGED INTOXICATION DEATHS OF PASSENGERS (P«r Pr«ss Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. In the Supreme Court yesterday. "'lrrence Albert Barnett was charged that, while in a state of intoxication in charge of a motor-car, he caused the deaths of William Hunter and John Muir, who were passengers in the car. The accident occurred on the Mam South Road near Lovel's Flat, on February 12. Evidence was given by a police witless, who described the finding cf Ml and broken bottles of beer in a Inch beside the car after the acc. j lent.
The hearing was adjourned till toiay.
