MAY DAY APPEALS
HYDE PARK CROWD OPPOSITION TO WAR (Reed. May 2, 3 p.m.) LONDON, May 1. Two hundred thousand people inj the May Day demonstration at Hyde Park to-day passed a resolution opposing war and fascism and supporting peace and freedom.
The relationship also urged tin abandonment of neutrality to Spain.
SERVICES IN PARIS (Itecd. Mav 2, 3 n.m.) PARIS, May 1. A partial stoppage of worl: marked May Day in Paris, but tile essential services were maintained.
