EUCHRE PARTY
(Herald Correspondent.)
An enjoyable euchre party was held in the Kaitaratahi Hall on Thursday evening. The winners were:—Ladies —Mrs. M. Brown, 1; Mrs. A. Buckingham, 2; gentlemen—Mr. N. O. Dwyer, 1; Mr. M. Mullooly, 2. Those present included Mesdames J. Goodley, B. Greggan, A. Buckingham, M. Brown, G. Croon, J. Lucas, A. Joll, M. Mason N. Wilton; Misses M. Shelton, J. and P. Bigncll. K. and G. Williams, E. Gomm, and K. Mullooly. A dance was held later, music being played by K. Mullooly.
Mr. K. Scott, Wellington, has been visiting his sister, Miss M. G. Scott, Waipaoa.—Mr. G. Gomm has beer, spending a few days with his parents. —Mr. and Mrs. G. Scrimgeour, Gisborne, spent the week-end with Mrs. F. Bignell. .
