DANCE AND FLOWER SHOW

PUHA WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

A GREAT SUCCESS

(Herald Correspondent.)

The committee of the Puha Womens Institute is to be congratulated on the success of its dance and flower Show, which was held in the Puha Hall.

The dance music was played by Miss Ruru’s orchestra, and delightful extras were contributed by Mr. H. Lenane. The duties of M.C. were capably carried out by Mr. J. Baylcy. Novelty dances were won by Miss N. Neshausseh a>nd partner and Mr. F. Kemp and partner, each of whom received dainty gifts. The supper arrangements were in the capable hands of Mrs. J. Graham and Mrs. A. Cameron.

The following were in charge of the stalls, all of which did brisk business: —Ices and sweets, Mesdames Dymock and Greatbatch and Miss Challice; work and produce, Mesdames A. Thompson and G, R. Sefton. Flowers, Show Results.
