Mr. P. McCullough, organiser for Modern Motor Imports, Limited, Wellington, is visiting Gisborne in connection with the establishment of the Lanchester-Daimler upon the Gisborne market.
■ The appointment of the Rev. J. Robertson as Moderator of the Christchurch Presbytery was confirmed at a meeting of the presbytery yesterday. He succeeds the Rev. J. Mawson Robinson. Mr. Robertson has been minister at the Cashmere Hills Church since 1930, and before that was at Clyde.
