MISS LOUISE GERARD VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND Among the visitors to New Zealand who arrived at Wellington by the Akaroa from England was Miss Louise Gerard, a well-known novelist, who intends spending some weeks in 'the Dominion. Miss Gerard is the author of 22 novels, most of'which have been published not only in Great Britain and the Empire, but also in the United States, Norway, Sweden, Denmark. Holland, France and Hungary. She is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and has written travel articles, short stories and film and serial work.
