APPEASING GERMANY
PROPOSALS BY BRITAIN
ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL
LONDON, Feb. 3.
Sir Neville Henderson, British Ambassador to Berlin, has returned to London for consultations with the Government regarding proposals which, according to the Daily Telegraph, it is intended to submit to Germany for the general settlement of outstanding problems, including colonies and armaments.
British experts, says the Daily Telegraph, have been working on a set of proposals, both economic and political, for the past two months. They will be discussed with the Dominions, as well as France, before conversations with Germany are opened.
