IRISH UNION PLAN
JOINT PARLIAMENT
MR. DE VALERA’S IDEA
LONDON, Jan. 14
“An All-Ireland Parliament at Dublin, in which the people of Northern Ireland would have representation, in addition to their own Parliament, is one bf the proposals Mr. de Valera is likely to submit at the Anglo-Irish talks on Monday,” says the Dublin correspondent of the Daily Mail.
The Dublin correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says: “Mr. de Valera may also cause surprise by offering to transfer the disputed land annuities, amounting to £4,000,000 a year, into a defence contribution.”
